Q1 2024 Performance of Top Air Travel Apps on Android in France

In the first quarter of 2024, Android users in France have shown varying levels of engagement with the top air travel apps. Sensor Tower provides a detailed view of these trends, demonstrating how these apps have been performing in terms of downloads and active users.

Air France - Book a flight showed a steady climb in downloads, starting from 9K in the first week of January and reaching a peak of 12K towards the end of February, before dipping slightly to 10K by the end of March. Weekly active users also saw an upward trend, starting at 33K and rising to over 39K in the same period, indicating a growing user base.

easyJet: Travel App experienced a similar pattern, with downloads beginning at 7K and reaching 12K by mid-March. The app’s weekly active users started strong at 76K but saw a dip to 68K, eventually rebounding to 79K by the third week of March.

Ryanair had a fluctuating download count, starting at nearly 10K, decreasing mid-quarter, and then slightly recovering to 9K by the end of March. Its active users mirrored this pattern, dropping from 60K to 52K and then increasing back to 60K in the last week.

For Flightradar24 Flight Tracker, which is the only app among the top five with reported revenue, the quarter started with downloads at 5K and peaked at 6K in late February. Weekly active users hovered around the mid-30K range but showed a significant jump to 42K in the last week. The app’s revenue started at approximately $2K in the first week and saw a high of $2.3K towards the end of the quarter.

Lastly, Transavia saw downloads beginning at 4K, peaking at 6K, and closing the quarter at 5K. Its weekly active users consistently grew from 15K to 18K during this period.
